Salabat Ginger Tea Ingredients:
* 3 cups water
* 3 tablespoons brown sugar (honey will do too!)
* 5-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
How To Make Salabat Ginger Tea:
1). Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.
2). Place the pan over high heat and bring to a boil.
3). Reduce heat to low, then simmer for 10 minutes.
4). Ladle the hot ginger tea into a coffee mug or teacup and serve immediately.
Note: If ginger tea or this salabat recipe is too spicy for you, it can be lessen by adding more water or adding more sugar or honey as desired.
