Easy Chocolate Crinkles Ingredients:
* 2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 cup cocoa powder
* 3/4 tsp. baking soda (or 1 tsp. baking powder)
* 1/2 tsp. salt
* 1 1/2 cups brown sugar (granulated sugar’s also fine)
* 1 cup cooking oil
* 4 large eggs
* 1 tsp. vanilla extract
* confectioner’s sugar for dusting
How To Make Chocolate Crinkles:
1). Sift together flour, cocoa powder and baking soda. Set aside.
2). Beat eggs one at a time. Add in sugar. Beat 2-3 minutes on medium speed.
3). Add in salt, vanilla, and oil. Blend well.
4). Gradually add in the dry ingredients. Mix until well blended. Do not over beat.
5). Form into a ball and refrigerate for at least two hours.
6). Divide dough into smaller portions. It’s easier to do on smaller portions as the dough could be sticky.
7). Dab your hands with oil so the dough won’t stick to your hands.
8). Form dough 1 inch thick and flatten a little.
9). Coat each dough with a generous amount of confectioner’s sugar.
10). Arrange covered dough in greased cookie sheets 1 inch apart.
11). Bake for 8 minutes at 350 degrees Celsius. Make it 10 minutes if you want a crumblier version.
12). After 8 minutes, cookies are still a little soft. The heat on the cookie tray and the cookies itself will finish the cooking until you achieve that “gooeyness”. Let the cookies cool before transferring into wire racks. Enjoy!
