Suman is one of the many specialties or delicacies that Filipinos loves to cook and eat. In fact, there are already lots of variations of this delicacy at each and every province, region, towns or cities. This is usually serve or cooked during special occassions such as Fiestas, Birthdays, Christmas and New Year’s Eve!
One of the most popular suman is the suman sa lihiya. If you wanted to try and make suman sa lihiya, here’s a very easy recipe brought to us by Pagkaing Pinoy TV.
2 cups glutinous rice
2 cups coconut milk
1 small panocha / panutsa
1/2 cup muscovado sugar
2 cups water
1 tsp lye water (lihiya)
